About Patterson Lakes Canoe Club

The Patterson Lakes Canoe Club is a not-for-profit community based canoeing and kayaking club. It was formed on the 18th May 1966
and has since been involved in all forms of canoeing and kayaking including marathon, sprint, white-water,
social paddling, touring and sea kayaking.

Kayaking in all its forms is a pastime that is actively pursued by all age groups and both genders.
The club has approx 120 members and is run by a committee of management on a voluntary basis.

It is affiliated with Canoeing Victoria (CV) and Australian Canoeing (AC).
Delegates from the club actively participate on CV and AC committees and assist with their competition and event calendars.

Clubhouse

The Club has a clubhouse which is available to all members.
Facilities include boat storage, showers, gym, change rooms
(including disabled), kitchen and meeting room.

Part of the building of the clubhouse was funded by donations; a list of those who paid $60.00 for a PLAQUE to help pay for the flooring on the 2nd floor of the clubhouse. 2000 & 2002

Meetings

Meetings are held on the third Monday of every month (except December unless otherwise specified) in the Clubhouse meeting room 10 Launching Way Carrum at 7:30pm.
